I love it when this show invites people to impersonate other celebrities/singers/etc. xD Haha but the newbies in this episode are not thattt funny... except for XiaoXia. I prefer(much more, actually) watching the 'real' actors do it(ie. Chong Chong, Chen Han Dian)... The only newbies who can really make me laugh are Hold住姐 and Xiao Xia(love them!) :)

Starry Starry Night 星空
Yep, this is the girl(Xu Jiao) from the Stephen Chow movie, CJ17... she has grown to be so pretty! Well, yeah, she still looked good in the past, but more of cute - now is pretty :) Look at the difference -
Anw, Starry Starry Night is a new movie coming out in Singapore(or has it already been released? I'm not sure xD), which features Xu Jiao, this handsome young boy(Eric Lin), Harlem Yu and Liu Ruo Ying.

A Song To Remember 星洲之夜 Songs :)
Decided to embed a few songs from A Song To Remember 星洲之夜 here, 'cus they simply sound so, so nice ! ;) I totally couldn't recognise Liu Li Yang's voice - her voice is so versatile ! And so good~.
Basically, the songs sung in the soundtrack/OST are by three singers - Mavis Hee, Jade Liu Li Yang and Xu Yi Qing.

Okay, all in all, I guess I love most of the songs inside A Song To Remember! xD hahaha.
I am not a hardcore channel-8-drama fan, but I think the idea of this whole story setting and musical thingie is great... And yeah, some people dislike channel 8 dramas 'cus of various reasons - I didn't + don't like some of them as well, and I don't watch all of them, but I find that these 9pm dramas are improving and the actors are improving as well.
So... yeah, I will support those I feel are worth watching.. ;) And you gotta admit, even if you don't like the show/cast, the singers and songs are GREAT in this show. So let's not bring them down along with the show(if you don't like it), yeah? ;)
And with that, wish everyone here has a happy Sunday today! :)

I chanced upon this @ Gramophone today - the A Song To Remember Official Soundtrack! Hurray it's out already; i feel like buying it :)
I feel the songs inside the show are super nice, 'cus it's something like a fusion of new and oldie songs, so that both the older and younger generation can enjoy the songs :) And the way they sing them as well - it just makes anyone, regardless of age, want to listen again and again... :)
If I didn't remember incorrectly, this retails at $22.95 (and $19.95 with purchase) @ Gramophone.

Jay Chou's back with a new album that's gg to be released on 11th Nov! :) It's called 《惊叹号》, which is basically 'exclamation mark' in English. I've embedded one of his new songs here - titled 你好嗎, with lyrics included.

The Oath 行医 (Catch-Up TV)
Love Thy Neighbour ended on Monday... quite a nice & touching last episode.. made me tear in some parts.. ;(
But anw. A new drama is on now and it's not bad! The filming & all is a bit different from the 'usual' way Singapore CH 8 dramas are filmed.. it's a bit more like... CH U's Pai Mai, that kind of filming pattern... and I like~ :))
It's a doctor-ish show, which is cool ^^ and it's also interesting that they chose to combine Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine in the show... And btw they are using some of Hebe's songs in the show as well !

Linda Chung: SG Bio-essence Commercial(in English!)
Just found this on Youtube ^^ It's Linda Chung's advertisement for Bio-essence Bird's Nest Nutri-Collagen & Whitening Advancer.
I think 'cus it's an ad to air in Singapore, they got our dear Linda to speak in English :)) And as usual, be it speaking in Catonese, English or Chinese, her voice sounds so beautiful~ (although she's not that fluent in Chinese and her pronounciation for Chinese is not that great either, but it still sounds awesome coming from her xD)

The Boys MV - SNSD Girls' Generation 소녀시대
SNSD's back with another catchy mv -
Although I'm not a hardcore Korean pop music fan, I kind of tend to take notice/keep track of SNSD & their songs - esp. their singles, which are always v. catchy... I find that their company 'packages' them very attractively - all their CD covers and MVs look real good and impressive(some look very princess-y also, which I like); they always manage to catch my eye and make me wna look twice. Thumbs-up!
Plus, of course, the gals themselves(even without the 'packaging' part) have such talent - they really do know how to dance>> love viewing Korean dances(although I can't dance for nuts)!
And on a side-note, I really admire those behind-the-scenes ppl who manage to come up with such amazing MVs(for Korean/Taiwan Chinese Pop music in general)... Kudos to you guys!! :))

EatYourKimchi - Korean Music Videos Parody/Etc.

小S怀孕了! Xiao S Is Pregnant(Again)!

Xiao S is already 3 months pregnant, and she 'predicts' that this tim
e round, it's still going to be a girl - with the symptoms, etc. she experiences being similar to those she had when she was pregnant with her 2 older daughters.
She revealed that previously, she tried a recommended diet - which was said to increase your probability of bearing a son - with her husband, but that didn't work - she still bore a daughter; thus, this time round, she didn't really stick to any 'special' diet, and wanted to ''let things take their natural course''.
A name has already been thought up by Xiao S for her third daughter(as she predicts) - Alice! Xiao S was also stated as saying that having a third daughter is good - as she herself is the third daughter in her family, and she describes herself as being filial and capable of earning money. So, Xiao S concludes, having a daughter still for the 'third round' is not a bad thing as well.
Da S congratulated her younger sis on Weibo, saying that she and her family were very happy to hear the news and that she wanted to be with Xiao S all the way and be the first to tell the newborn baby, "Auntie loves you!"
Regarding her super popular talkshow with Cai Kang Yong(蔡康永) - Kang Xi Lai Le《康熙来了》, Xiao S has said that she will host for as long as she can(before giving birth). Kai Yong has been very supportive as well, stating that he will 'rest' along with Xiao S(meaning, not going to carry on with the show and everything), no matter how long a break she may need.

(Sorry for the late upload!) I was lucky to have won exclusive passes to WenYin's autograph session in Singapore on 10th July 2011 @ Bugis Junction... got the chance to see her up close close close without most ppl blocking :) She's singing 还是朋友 in this vid.
Was zooming in/out while adjusting the camera, so pls make do with some parts of the vid where the quality is not that gd cus i zoomed in too much! But the sound quality is good, though. ;) With nobody singing in the background or stuff like that, haha...

J.K. Rowling has come up with a website, PotterMore, where fans can enjoy everything Harry Potter-ish.
Apparently, according to Ars Technica, this website is ''an online immersive experience for which Rowling has written extensive new material (more than 18,000 new words so far) about characters, places and objects in the series''! You can also get the e-books to the HP series here.
Sounds captivating, huh? I know - I myself can't wait to visit!!
But apparently, the next 'intake' of members only starts in October, so readers who visit the url now can't really see/access anything... ;(
P.S. I hope to visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios Orlando one day, too(and drink butter beer and do stuff harry-potter-ish)! *prays hard* :(
